Standard R1200GS(A) LC Flashing Diagram

- Submitted by IJC

This diagram offers some edits from the standard mapping as follows:

Extra horn is connected to Output 6. Spotlights are connected to Outputs 1 & 2.

  • When the horn is pressed 3 times within 1.5 seconds, on the 3rd press, the extra horn will sound for as long as it is held. This is useful because you may not always want to use an air horn. Sometimes a polite little beep of the horn is needed so you can call on the secondary horn when needed.

  • When the horn is held for more than 1.5 seconds, the extra horn will sound for as long as it is held. This is really useful because the second horn, especially an airhorn, will add an additional sense of alert from those around you.

  • When the horn is pressed or when the brights are double tapped, the spotlights will flash 10 times for 50 milliseconds each time. (Standard program is only 5 times).
